Business Profile

With diverse exposure both as a corporate executive and commercial lawyer, I aim to add maximum value for clients by applying experience, entrepreneurial flair, creativity and linguistic ability. I have led companies in tough industries and delivered results under difficult conditions (both in Africa and SE Asia). This was achieved by identifying key issues, applying a consistently professional approach and a strong commitment to completion of tasks.
As a business consultant my focus areas are - interim management, business analysis and turn around and due diligence.
I also provide a cost effective ‘in house’ legal service to a small number of selected clients. In drafting contracts and other legal documentation, I apply the doctrine of ‘plain English’ (i.e. keeping words to a minimum and avoiding unnecessary legalise). I neither encourage nor handle litigation but, as an accredited mediator (CEDR UK), actively promote negotiation and mediation for resolution of disputes.
